Hospitappity is a platform I built for independent restaurants, bars, cafés, breweries, liquor stores, and other local businesses. Each business gets its own branded app in the App Store and Google Play and a fast website on its own domain, all built from one framework and run from one simple owner portal.
The big restaurant platforms charge setup fees, lock you into long contracts, take a cut of every order, and bill extra for every location. Hospitappity doesn't: prices are published, the business picks a 12-month agreement at the best price or month-to-month and cancels with one email, every location is included, and the app is published under the business's own Apple and Google accounts. If you ever leave, you can export everything and take it with you.
What a business gets
- Its own app: hours, menu or shop, events, locations, and order and reservation buttons linked to the services it already uses
- Push notifications: fill a slow Tuesday with one tap, scheduled ahead and targeted by location or interest
- A website built for local search: a page for every location, with the structured data search engines use to show hours and menus
- An owner portal: the owner and staff update hours, specials, events, and photos from any browser, and the app and website follow
- Made for more than restaurants: a liquor store gets a shop organized into departments, a restaurant gets a menu with dietary tags, and home-services businesses get a website without the app
First customer: Spirited Spin
Spirited Spin, a two-location liquor shop in Eau Gallie and Malabar that specializes in bourbon and private barrel selections, is the first business running on Hospitappity. Its site is live atspiritedspin.com.
