Fish Florida Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
Fish Florida is a single-player fishing game: you pick real Florida locations, catch real local species, and earn your way from a neighborhood pond to the blue water. This page explains, plainly, what that means for your data.
The short version
Fish Florida does not have accounts, does not ask for your name, email, or location, and does not send anything about you to us.Your saved game stays on your device. The only outside data collection happens through the advertising shown in the game, described below.
Information we don't collect
The game itself runs entirely on your device. It has no sign-in, no leaderboards, no chat, and no way to enter personal information in the first place. We don't collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data, and we don't operate any server that stores your gameplay. Your progress is saved only on your device, so deleting the app deletes your save.
Advertising & Google AdMob
Fish Florida shows ads from Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos you choose to watch (for example, for a free bait pack), and occasional ads between trips. To select, deliver and measure ads, and to keep the ad SDK working, AdMob and its partners may collect:
- Device identifiers, such as your device's advertising ID
- Your IP address and the general (non-precise) location derived from it
- Advertising data, such as which ads were shown
- Usage and interaction data, such as app launches, taps and video views
- Diagnostic and performance data, such as crash logs, app launch time, hang rate and energy usage
This collection is controlled by Google, not by us, and is covered byGoogle's Privacy PolicyandHow Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Fish Florida does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not track you across other companies' apps and websites in the sense Apple uses that term. Ads only load when the game asks for one; it doesn't fetch ads in the background while you're just fishing.
In-app purchases
Fish Florida offers a one-time Remove Ads purchase. It is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The app never sees your payment details, and we don't receive them. The app only learns whether the purchase has been made, so it can switch the between-trip ads off.
Children's privacy
Fish Florida is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app's advertising, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
Data retention & your choices
Because the app itself doesn't collect or store personal data, there's nothing on our end to access, export, or delete. To limit ad personalization:
- iPhone and iPad: you can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and reset personalized ad settings there.
- Android: use Settings → Privacy → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID.
To erase your saved game, delete the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new effective date above. Since the game has no accounts, we have no way to notify you directly - check back if you'd like to review the current version.
