Battle of WWII
Play Now!A tank on the road, bombers overhead. Shoot them down before their bombs find you.

Back in the Commodore 64 days, my dad wrote a little game called Battle of Britain, and his friend Bill Highsmith wrote his own version, Battle of Poland. This is a remake of both, rebuilt as one game in the C64's 320 by 200 screen and its 16 colours.
What's in it
- Two battles: Battle of Britain and Battle of Poland, each with its own high score
- Bombers aim their bombs at you: dodge them or shoot them out of the air
- A new wave every 30 seconds, with more and faster aircraft, fighters, and bombers that aim better
- SID-style sound and an optional "old telly" CRT effect
- Every piece of art and every sound is made in code, from scratch
Play it now
Battle of WWII plays in your browser on a computer with a keyboard (a gamepad works too), or download it for Mac or Windows. Arrow keys drive and aim, Space fires, and F11 goes full screen.
On Windows, unzip it and run BattleOfWWII.exe. If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
